Make a Wish Swim
The annual Make a Wish Swim takes place the first Sunday in August and concludes at Portside Marina. Two Kelleys Island residents make the swim yearly and a few of the many routes have included swimming around Kelleys Island and from Put In Bay to Kelleys Island. Portside supports the Swim with monetary contributions, selling T-shirts in its marina store, and contributing golf cart rental revenue. Proceeds benefit the Make a Wish Foundation.
