A trip to Kelleys Island is incomplete without a golf cart that allows you the freedom and spontaneity to explore all the island has to offer!

Portside Marina is now offering golf cart rental reservations to help you move around the island - and includes a personal dedicated parking space at the marina for hassle free access!

Reservations can be made online, by phone 419-746-2668, or via walk-in at the Marina office.

Just a few reservation Rules

Minimum Overnight

Reservations are for full day rentals: 11:00 AM to 10:00 AM the following day. We do not offer refunds or credit for late pick up or early drop off. All pick up and drop offs must occur during marina office hours.

Reservations are not complete until you have made payment and completed the rental agreement with us. You will receive email confirmation that reservation is complete. We must see you in person, verify drivers license and confirm dock assignment to release the cart.

Cancellation Fee

All rental reservations can be cancelled with a full refund, minus transaction fee, 72 hours prior to first rental day. If not cancelled prior to 72 hours, you will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee. Transaction fee is 3%. Refunds will be issued at the owner’s discretion.

Drivers must be eighteen (18) years of age, or older, valid driver's license, and insured.
Sign Lease-Rental Agreement when picking up keys (below).
Abide by all traffic laws.
Parking only in legally designated areas / spaces.
No reckless driving or driving under the influence of alcohol or substances, including prescribed.
No driving on beaches/sidewalks or trail paths.
Weight limit for 4 passenger carts is 800 pounds maximum, 6 passenger carts 1,200 pounds maximum.
Golf Carts flip easily when turning at high speeds. Flipping the cart is prohibited and the Renter is responsible for ALL damages due to a flipped golf cart.
You are responsible for any cart damage. Normal wear and tear is expected.
You are responsible for any city and or state citation.
If a Renter has a problem/complaint with any component of the rental cart, it is the Renter’s responsibility to notify Portside Marina Office Staff within the first 2 hours the cart is in the Renter’s possession if any refunds/exchanges are requested (but NOT guaranteed). Refunds will be issued at the owner’s discretion.
